Education is the key to success for young people, for families, and for communities. Today, more CPS students are graduating from high school than ever before—over 90% say they aspire to go to college, yet only 63% enroll and only 27% graduate.
Hope Chicago is working to change this, by investing $1 billion in college scholarships for Chicago’s students and their parents over the next decade. As the first and only multigenerational scholarship program in the city, Hope Chicago is working to eliminate the educational and economic equity barriers by offering students and their parents a transformative opportunity for a debt-free secondary education.
Most recently Hope Chicago completed a historic week-long series of daily, surprise scholarship announcements for 4,000 students and parents at five Chicago public high schools around the city.
Hope Chicago is ambitious, but so is Chicago. Join us to learn more about Hope Chicago’s mission to redefine the education landscape and create new pathways to success for multiple generations of Chicagoans, and how it will take the support of the entire Chicago community – businesses, nonprofits and citizens – to make this possible.
This program is presented in partnership with the HRMAC Institute at the Executives’ Club of Chicago. The HRMAC Institute comprises Chicagoland’s largest and most vibrant community of professionals who are passionate about talent and building the best organizations of the future.
