Investing in Chicago Through Education

Education is the key to success for young people, for families, and for communities. Today, more CPS students are graduating from high school than ever before—over 90% say they aspire to go to college, yet only 63% enroll and only 27% graduate.

Hope Chicago is working to change this, by investing $1 billion in college scholarships for Chicago’s students and their parents over the next decade. As the first and only multigenerational scholarship program in the city, Hope Chicago is working to eliminate the educational and economic equity barriers by offering students and their parents a transformative opportunity for a debt-free secondary education.

Most recently Hope Chicago completed a historic week-long series of daily, surprise scholarship announcements for 4,000 students and parents at five Chicago public high schools around the city.
