PVH Corp. has been recognized for its commitment to creating an inclusive environment where every individual is valued, including being named one of Forbes‘ Best Employers for Diversity and earning a 100 percent on the HRC Corporate Equality Index, among other honors. Dave Kozel, executive vice president and chief human resources officer of PVH Corp., shared in this recent episode of The Future of Work Podcast that the company remains focused on a people-first strategy in order to bring in the best talent and keep them engaged and motivated. He added that allowing employees to be truly successful in what they are interested in from a career standpoint only increases the company’s probability of success. Through its leadership curriculum at PVH University, employees can take entry level, first-time manager training programs and second-level training programs, as well as engage with a global leadership program that works in conjunction with The Wharton Business School. Kozel says that people need to spend up to 20 percent of their time away from their work and that they should designate some time during the work day to not think about the tasks they need to complete. However, he says that work environments continue to change, just as technology has changed the ways in which people work. “The rate of change is so fast, we have to find new ways to work and leverage technology in order to keep up,” says Kozel. “One thing that is certain is what we’re doing today is going to change tomorrow.”
