Professional services giant KPMG has opened its seventh and largest KPMG Ignition Center in Chicago, spanning 30,000 square-meters in the Aon Center. KPMG said it selected Chicago because of the city’s broad array of industry sectors and businesses, as well as the access to talent. “Chicago’s ability to attract and retain technology talent is critical to the work we are doing to support enterprise-wide business transformation,” says Linda Imonti, Chicago office managing principal. The KPMG Ignition Center – Chicago will incorporate an innovation lab, an insights center, a prototyping “garage” space named the Green Room, a 13-person capacity briefing center and a living room that features an executive dining area for person-to-person interaction. “These spaces help us to bring together our capabilities across emerging technologies, strategy and business services in a new way that represents how KPMG is transforming our business and how we help our clients transform,” says Mike Nolan, vice-chair of innovation and enterprise solutions at KPMG.
