Jim Umpleby is an American businessman. Since 2017, he has served as the CEO of Caterpillar Inc., one of the world’s largest construction-equipment manufacturers, and became Chairman of Caterpillar’s Board of Directors in December 2018. Umpleby was the Exec Club’s 2019 International Executive of the Year.
