Jack F. Smith Jr. is an American businessman and executive who served as CEO of General Motors from 1992 to 2000. While at GM, he undertook one of its most sweeping reorganizations, overturning a cumbersome and inefficient structure created in the 1920s and left virtually unchanged since then. Since he left, he has served on the board of multiple major brands including Delta Air Lines from 2004 to 2007, Member of Board of Procter & Gamble from 1995-2008. He was the Executives’ Club of Chicago’s 1997 International Executive of the Year.
