Bill Gates is an American business magnate, software developer, investor, author, and philanthropist. He is the Co-Founder of Microsoft, which was founded in 1975 and grew to be the world’s largest personal computer software company. He established the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in 2000 with his then-wife, Melinda Gates. In March 2020, he stepped down from his roles with Microsoft to focus on philanthropic efforts. He is currently the fourth richest person in the world. Gates was the Exec Club’s first International Executive of the Year.
