October 1, 2021 (Chicago) – The Executives’ Club of Chicago has acquired the Human Resources Management Association of Chicago (HRMAC), uniting the two venerable organizations to provide unmatched professional development opportunities for the region’s business leaders.

The Executives’ Club of Chicago has been the city’s premier resource for connecting leaders and providing innovative thought leadership for 110 years. For over 100 years, HRMAC has met the specialized and ever-changing needs of the Chicago Human Resources community with best-practice resources and real-life applications and by linking HR peers and industry executives.

“We believe that the joining of these two important organizations will provide an enhanced experience for members of both organizations to engage in robust thought leadership and unique membership experiences,” said Margaret Mueller, President & CEO of the Executives’ Club of Chicago. “The HRMAC Institute at the Executives’ Club of Chicago will continue to serve as a leader in developing relevant HR programming for members across industries and functions as well as experiences that support the growth and development of leaders in the Chicago business community.”

By bringing HRMAC leadership and members into the Executives’ Club of Chicago, the organization is equipped to better serve the region’s business community through expanded thought leadership, professional development programs and member experiences that historically have been available only to the HRMAC community. Talent and organizational management is one of the top issues for all business leaders who now will have the opportunity to more fully engage with and learn from regional HR experts.

“HRMAC’s vision is to be an open and vibrant Chicagoland community of professionals who are passionate about talent, building the best organizations of the future,” said Imran Qureshi, Board Chair of HRMAC. “We are excited about continuing that vision by combining with the Executives’ Club of Chicago. Our members and the Chicago business community will benefit from this historical combination between two great associations.”
