NINE MEMBERS JOIN THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AT THE EXECUTIVES’ CLUB OF CHICAGO

(Chicago) – The Executives’ Club of Chicago announces Scott Swanson, PNC regional president of Illinois as the new chair of the board of directors. He replaces Dean Harrison, chief executive officer of Northwestern Memorial HealthCare.

“Scott has been an active director of Executives’ Club for over a decade, with a career dedicated to elevating the Chicago business landscape. He is one of our city’s great civic leaders and is committed to our mission of connecting and growing the region’s business community,” said Margaret Mueller, president and chief executive officer of the Executives’ Club of Chicago. “We are grateful for the service he has already given to our organization and are excited to have him now lead our board and elevate Executives’ Club as the nexus of the region’s business community.”

Swanson joined the board of directors in 2010 and most recently served as first vice chair.

In addition to the board chair announcement, nine new members joined the board of directors. The nine members include: Jeff Adkins, president and CEO at Energy BBDO; Susan Arthur, CEO at CareerBuilder; TC Chatterjee, CEO at Griffith Foods; David A. Gupta, CEO at SDI Presence; Greg Hughes, president, North America at Beam Suntory; Lior Ron, Head at Uber Freight; Kristof Terryn, CEO at Zurich North America; Laura Thonn, Chicago Office Managing Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP; and Nykia Wright, CEO at Chicago Sun-Times.
