POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Partnerships Manager is responsible for supporting the Associate Director of Partnerships in cultivating, securing, and stewarding corporate sponsorship of Exec Club events, programming, initiatives, and member engagement. This position plays an integral role in business development and external relations. As an excellent communicator and detail-oriented account manager, this person ensures all partners receive best-in-class experience as sponsors of Exec Club.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Account Management

  • Manage a portfolio of ~25 sustaining corporate partner relationships, ensuring consistent communication and thoughtful engagement throughout the course of the partnership lifecycle
  • Build relationships with assigned accounts to better understand the partners’ areas of interest and ways they wish to engage with Exec Club
  • Develop a consistent communication cadence with each assigned account to ensure they are always up to date on opportunities and events with Exec Club
  • Serve as each account’s point person for any updates to their corporate membership roster and provide updates for opportunities where they could better engage
  • Coordinate and conduct sponsor renewal processes including scheduling meetings, preparing fulfillment reports, and creating new opportunity pitch materials
  • Identify and resolve sponsor related conflicts and challenges in a timely manner
  • Execute comprehensive sponsor stewardship program in tandem with the AD of Partnerships

Engagement

  • Track sponsor benefit fulfillment and ensure execution of deliverables for assigned sponsors and initiatives 
  • Create and send sponsor communications including monthly event guides, special updates, invitations, etc. 
  • Oversee logo management including monitoring logo placements, approving logo accuracy on print materials and digital communications, and making sure the logo folder is up to date with the most recent logo for each company 
  • Work collaboratively with the Content and Events teams to identify opportunities for corporate partners to integrate into events from thought leadership to onsite activation 
  • Oversee Sponsor table guest name collection for Signature Series programs 
  • Track financial commitments and manage sponsor invoicing, payment reminders, agreements, and contracts  
  • Prepare sponsorship agreements and contracts for review and signature by Chief Operations Officer 
  • Collaborate with companies and community organizations to create unique experiences and onsite activations that enhance Exec Club events and programming 
  • Support in the planning and execution of special events for partners such as dinners, receptions, and roundtables 

Other

  • Assist the membership & events teams onsite at programs and meetings (sometimes early morning and into the evening)  
  • Actively build relationships with the corporate community 
  • Create and update general partnerships decks and materials as needed 
  • Monitor sponsorship trends and work closely with the AD of Partnerships to generate new benefits, engagement opportunities, and experiences 
  • Manage in-bound calls and general sponsorship inquires; elevate as needed 
  • Special projects as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in any area of study but preferable business or marketing
  • 3-5 years of work experience, ideally in sponsorship, events, business development, or marketing
  • Professional demeanor and ability to interface with all levels of clients, including C-Suite executives
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Knowledge and experience with CRM software
  • Strong organizational, written & verbal communication skills
  • Able to handle multiple projects in varying stages of development and meet deadlines
  • Able to work well with others in a small, fast-paced team-oriented environment
  • Highly developed customer service orientation and skills
  • Willing to attend and help with morning programs and evening receptions
