The modern organization is a complex system, comprised of numerous elements, relationships, and connections. Core to system thinking is the belief that, “every organization is perfectly designed to get the results it gets.” Leaders who understand their organizations as complex systems, embedded and interacting with other systems, are better equipped to leverage the “right things” to ensure sustainability and the desired outcomes.
This workshop focuses on understanding the systems behind and within every organization that drives results. This workshop will provide an introduction to organizations as systems and system thinking. We will also cover: basic tools for mapping systems to ensure better problem understanding, the identification of critical levers and strategies for leading complex systems.
