Navigating the Corporate Social Responsibility Landscape

Navigating the Corporate Social Responsibility Landscape

Corporate Social Responsibility is one of the hottest topics in Chicago’s business community today. Organizations large and small are investing in policies that will build a better future by prioritizing sustainable, equitable, and responsible solutions to problems found in Chicago, the US, and the world. Whether you are a family business, national corporation, or global nonprofit, there are a plethora of opportunities to engage in this space. On January 30th, The Executives’ Club’s CSR Forum is hosting its first-ever event featuring CSR leaders in the corporate, academic, non-profit, and small business worlds.
Banking Forum

The Future of Banking

Banking is anything but business as usual these days. With disruption in the credit card, customer service, retail experience, and lending models of years past, the future of this industry is teed up for a new era of modernization and change. Younger consumers are forcing companies to adapt to customizable, on-the-go solutions that make customers feel like they are receiving authentically personal care. Millennial and Gen Z consumers want to do business with banks that align to their values and communities. Virtual assistants, wearables, robo-advisors, and other innovations are transforming the ways businesses interact with their customers and partners. What do all these changes mean for your bottom line?

Join us on February 4 to hear from industry pioneers and learn what your organization can be doing to stay ahead of the curve and serve the customers of tomorrow.

Real Estate

The State of Chicago Real Estate and Development

2020 is sure to be a year of far-reaching change in the Chicago real estate landscape, starting with the appointment of former Detroit planning chief Maurice Cox to lead Chicago’s Planning and Development agency. He brings a wealth of experience in architecture, politics, and design education to the department tasked with equitable neighborhood growth, historic preservation, and various community development projects.

As the city builds upon a year that brought a new mayor, progress on mega developments like Lincoln Yards, explosive commercial growth in the West Loop and Fulton Market, hope for a Chicago casino, and the brand new Neighborhood Opportunity Fund, the local real estate and development community will look towards Commissioner Cox’s leadership as we aim to solve problems both new and old. Join The Executives’ Club Real Estate Forum on February 6th as we hear from the Commissioner on his outlook for future development in Chicago.
