WOMEN'S LEADERSHIP PROGRAM

Women are increasingly tackling some of the most complex and challenging leadership roles in the world – from the boardroom to government and beyond.  The Executives’ Club of Chicago initiated its Women’s Leadership Program in 2004 to provide a forum for today’s leading business women to share their experiences, as well as learn from the successes (and failures) of well known and respected women leaders.

Each quarter, the Club hosts a Women’s Leadership Breakfast and Panel Discussion to explore a provocative and introspective career topic.  Since its inception, these breakfasts have each attracted upwards of 1,000 participants.

The themes for the Club’s 2008-2009 season Women’s Leadership Breakfasts and Panel Discussions include:

  • “Careers in Stages: Defining the Course”
  • “Women Setting the New Leadership Paradigm”
  • “Positioning Yourself for Board Success”
  • “I Wish I Would Have Known That: Lessons for New Leaders”

In addition to the quarterly breakfasts, the Club also hosts by-invitation-only dinner programs for senior-level women leaders on topics of interest and for the development of future women leaders.
