The Leadership Development Program attracts sold-out audiences of Chicago’s aspiring leaders, as well as many senior-level executives, some of whom are also New Leaders Circle mentors.
Content for the Leadership Development Program is shaped with direct input from the Club’s leaders and evaluated with senior advisors from the Board of Directors and the general membership. Held quarterly, most programs in the series offer time for relationship building before and/or after a formal panel or speaker presentation, and devote significant time for lively Q&A with the program audience.
The themes for the Club’s 2009-2010 season New Leaders Circle Development Program include:
- “Better Leaders, Better Worlds: Defining the Core Elements of a Global Leader”
- “The Next Generation: Developing Your Skills to Lead in the Global Economy”
- “Responding to Conflict in the 21st Century: Leading from Strength”
- “Success Stories from Leaders Under 40”
